Tagaytay, the second summer capital of the Philippines, will be home to Bahay Kainan, our cosy little café catering to travelers who come across this paradise in the Philippines with cool weather throughout the year. Bahay Kainan will serve mouth-watering food to local residents, day-trippers from Manila, and tourists from all over the globe who come to enjoy the magnificent and scenic view of Taal volcano while savouring the specialty “kape barako” coffee blend as well as fresh produce from local farms and fish ponds.
With a homey ambiance, Bahay Kainan will serve high quality Asian fusion inspired meals to budget and health conscious people with fast and efficient service. Freshly baked cakes and Pinoy desserts accompanied by blended coffee will be served at our wireless internet café. Parking lots will be available and customers can see how the cuisine is prepared at our open kitchen concept café.
The cafe will be open 7 days a week, 7 am - 10 pm, with 'take-away' available with the option of gift-wrapped desserts for on-the-go travelers, businesspeople, students, and passerbys enticed by the aroma of freshly baked cakes and brewed coffee.
Bahay Kainan is owned and managed by Ms. Jocelyn Jimenez. With 20 years of working experience as a domestic helper, Jocelyn acquired extensive knowledge and skill in preparingand serving international dishes, particularly Asian food. Bahay Kainan embodies Jocelyn's love for cooking.
